This Groma Explorer website (“Site”) is owned and operated by BitSight Technologies, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively, “Bitsight”). These Terms of Use contain the terms on which you (also referred to herein as “User” or “your”) may access and use this Site and the data, information and materials made available and/or displayed on the Site (the “Materials”). By using this Site you acknowledge and accept these Terms of Use. This Site is made available at Bitsight’s sole option as a free-of-charge resource, and does not form part of your Bitsight subscription.

Bitsight reserves the right to change these Terms of Use upon notice, which may be given by posting revised Terms of Use on the Site, by e-mail, or otherwise in writing. Your continued use of this Site will be conclusively deemed your acceptance of the current Terms of Use. 
By using this Site, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms of Use, understand them, and agree to be bound by their terms. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, you shall neither access nor use this Site. 

  1. Grant of License. Bitsight provides you with a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Site and Materials, conditioned on your continued compliance with these Terms of Use as set out below. 
  2. Permitted Uses. The Site and Materials are available only for research, reporting, and internal business use within your organization. Subject always to the restrictions below, in relation to such use you may: (i) view and refer to the Materials and related findings for vulnerability research and reporting; (ii) download and print those Materials for which a ‘download’ link is provided on the Site (the “Downloadable Materials”); and (iii) publish limited Downloadable Materials in hardcopy or electronic form for the purposes of vulnerability research and reporting within a report, blog, press release or similar publication, providing such Downloadable Materials and related findings are attributed to Bitsight.
  3. Prohibited Uses. In each case, except as expressly permitted under these Terms of Use, you may not: (i) alter or remove any copyright or similar notices; (ii) modify, create derivatives of, copy, distribute, repackage, reproduce, publish, license, transfer or sell access to the Site or Materials; (iii) download the Materials (other than the Downloadable Materials) or otherwise store the Materials for subsequent use, or “scrape” or data mine the Site or Materials; (iii) incorporate the Site or Materials as a component of any product or service; (iv) access the Site or Materials for the purposes of monitoring availability, performance, functionality or for benchmarking purposes; (v) access or use the Site or Materials for any competitive purposes; (vi) access or use the Site or Materials for illegal, fraudulent or malicious purposes; (vii) disrupt, impair or interfere with the Site; or (viii) access or use the Site or Materials in any manner which Bitsight, in its sole discretion, deems excessive or abusive.
  4. Intellectual Property Rights. All Materials contained on the Site, unless otherwise indicated, are protected by law including, but not limited to, United States copyright, trade secret, and trademark law, as well as other state, national, and international laws and regulations. “Bitsight” and all other names, logos, and icons identifying Bitsight and/or Bitsight products and services are proprietary marks of Bitsight or its licensors. Third-party trademarks displayed on the Site are the property of their respective owners. Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE®) information is Copyright © 1999-2024 The MITRE Corporation. CVE and the CVE logo are registered trademarks of the MITRE Corporation. CVE® information is licensed from the MITRE Corporation on the terms displayed at https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse.
  5. Assumption of Risk. You use the Site and Materials solely at your own risk. Bitsight and its licensors are not responsible for the accuracy of the Site or Materials, or for the consequences of any reliance on the Site or Materials. 
  6. Disclaimer. The Site and all Materials are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without representation or warranty of any kind, and BITSIGHT AND ITS AFFILIATES (THE “BITSIGHT PARTIES”) MAKE NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON OR ENTITY AS TO THEIR ACCURACY, RESULTS, TIMELINESS, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. BITSIGHT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TERMINATE ACCESS TO ANY OR ALL OF THE SITE AND MATERIALS AT ANY TIME WITHOUT NOTICE.

    TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BITSIGHT DISCLAIMS LIABILITY TO ANY PERSON OR ENTITY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR INCIDENTAL LOSSES OR DAMAGES WHATSOEVER ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE ACCESS TO OR USE OF THIS SITE AND ITS MATERIALS, EVEN IF ANY OF THE BITSIGHT PARTIES HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH LOSSES OR DAMAGES.
  7. Governing Law. These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without reference to its conflict of law principles and without regard to the U.N. Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
