Alex Hadjinicolaou is a Senior Data Scientist working at Bitsight. In his last position as a neuroscientist, he analyzed invasive brain recordings of patients with epilepsy to better understand the neural correlates of human communication. A chance discussion about cybersecurity with a friend sparked a keen interest in the topic and ultimately resulted in the decision to leave the world of academia and join Bitsight in its mission to quantify cyber risk.
As a recovering academic, Alex continues his rehabilitation by developing methods for evaluating cyber exposure, earning the occasional IT certification, and making fewer applications for grant funding.
