Registration Policy: Registration fees (if applicable) for this Bitsight hosted, co-hosted, or sponsored event (“Event”) represent the cost of a single pass per person per Event.
Cancellation Policy: Registration fees paid for this Event are not refundable, but are transferable to another person in the same company, pending Bitsight’s approval. No refunds or credits will be provided if you cancel or do not show up. Your completed registration form, online registration and email confirmation constitute a binding agreement between you and Bitsight.
Privacy Notice: We take the privacy of your personal data seriously. This Privacy Notice describes Bitsight’s policies and practices regarding its collection and use of your personal data and describes your applicable privacy rights. We may, from time to time, update this Privacy Notice as we undertake new personal data practices or adopt new privacy policies. If you have questions or concerns, please contact [email protected].
Photography/Video Notice: Please be aware that Bitsight will be taking photographs and video in public areas of the conference (session rooms, exhibit hall, etc.) and your image and the sound of your voice may be recorded. If you are identified during the recording or photograph, or identify yourself by name, current company, or title, that information may be included in our marketing materials, educational products and publications. Recordings may be edited, copied, exhibited, published or distributed. By
attending the Event you grant Bitsight the irrevocable right (to the extent permitted by law) and permission to use photographs, audio and/or video recordings of you, including your name, current company name and job title arising from your participation in the Event. Such information may be used on websites, in emails, in publications, promotional flyers, and educational materials, all in connection
with promotion of the Event, as well as in order to create and distribute derivative works, or for any other similar purpose without compensation or notice to you. You agree that all such portraits, pictures, photographs, video and audio recordings and any reproductions thereof, and all plates, negatives, recording tape and digital files, are and shall remain the sole property of Bitsight. You agree to hereby release, acquit and forever discharge Bitsight, and its current and former trustees, agents, officers, employees, and affiliates, from any and all claims, demands, rights, promises, damages and liabilities arising out of or in connection with the use or distribution of said photographs, audio and/or video recordings, including but not limited to any claims for invasion of privacy, appropriation of likeness or defamation.
Conduct at Bitsight Events: Bitsight is dedicated to making our meetings and events safe places for all. We do not tolerate harassment of any kind. We require that all participants at this Event demonstrate respect and courtesy to all. This includes refraining from inappropriate language, comments and conduct, in person or by electronic communications (such as social media).
Anyone who has experienced improper conduct in violation of these terms is encouraged to report it immediately to the Bitsight event staff or by emailing Bitsight at [email protected]. Bitsight reserves the right to rescind registration or attendance at any Bitsight event at any time for violations of this policy or for any other reason.
By attending the Event, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that your participation in the photo, audio and video portions of the Event is completely voluntary, as is your consent to this release. Please contact [email protected] for any questions about the Event.
